Like most United Methodist churches across this land
Memorial UMC has a Methodist Men’s group.
During 1997 a new General Commission on UMM emerged;
we are now a self governed group with our own board of directors.
The group’s main goal is to assist men to know Jesus Christ, to serve Him,
to grow spiritually, and seek daily to do his will.
The group here at MUMC had its beginning in 1952 and has been
instrumental in the church’s growth, fellowship, and leadership.
We have a very active membership and our main focus
has been Boy Scout Troop 471 and Cub Pack 471.
Through various fundraiser and activities we have contributed
to church camps, CMU, Habitat for Humanity, church cleanup projects,
St. Paul Cemetery Fund and the local food pantry to mention a few.
We invite all men of our church to come and join us
on the fourth Monday of each month (with the exception of June, July, and August) at 6:30 p.m. for and evening of fellowship.
We cook our own meals and our meetings are very informal and fun.
Come and join us!!!
