Lenten Book
Each of us has been touched by God countless times in our lives. When we share how God has touched our lives, we honor his blessings, and we help others. This is especially true when we hear from someone we know. This Lenten season, Memorial is gathering short messages from people in the church about a time when God has touched their lives. These will be compiled into a book and shared with the congregation. The plan is to have at least one message for each day during Lent. We hope that you will share your story. Maximum length is 250 words. They can be hand written or typed. You can email them to Rebecca.a.lacy@gmail.com or drop them off at the office. We need all submissions no later than 2/12. If you have questions or would like assistance, please call Rebecca at 747-1951. We request that submissions be signed because that will make them more meaningful to the readers.

This month we are reading the second book in the series, Prague Counterpoint. Book are available through the church and public library. Courageous Movie Event & Study.
March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 @ 6:30 p.m.
Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, they are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood. When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a new found urgency help these dads draw closer to God… and to their children. Protecting the streets is second nature. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That’s courageous!
The first night will be a 2-hour movie event. The following weeks, will be a 4-week study. The movie is rated PG-13 for some violence and drug content. Classes for children will run concurrent to adult study, nursery care available.
